Staying here made it effortless to wander around Taormina, with the Ancient Theatre and stunning views just about a 10-minute stroll away, while the lovely Piazza IX April was filled with charming cafes and shops just a bit further on, creating a perfect base for leisurely weekend city strolls.

We booked this trip to Taormina last minute and it was the best decision we made the whole time we were in Sicily! The pool with a view and the jacuzzi were perfect for unwinding after exploring. My only suggestion would be to add Netflix access to the bedroom TV as well. other than that, everything was fantastic! 😊

The uphill walk to the old town is about 25-30 minutes with lots of stairs and no sidewalks, which can be a hassle for families. Limited amenities mean no vending machines or on-site dining, making mornings tricky without provisions. Moldy smell in the room isn't ideal and having to wait for a bus comes every 30 minutes can be inconvenient. Additionally, checkout involves an inspection that feels a bit out of place compared to other experiences.
